Baldemar Villarreal is a Mexican-American Philosopher, Professor, Writer, Music Composer-Producer, and Social Commentator based out of South-Central Texas. Baldemar and his family migrated from his birthtown of Nueva Rosita, Coahuila - Mexico to the southside of San Antonio, TX. He completed his undergrated work at The University of Texas SA and his graduate work at Texas State University.

Currently Baldemar is living in San Marcos, Texas, teaching Ethics and Philosophy at Texas State University. He is also performing nationally with Sebastien De La Cruz & Mariachi Charros de Oro as seen on this season's America's Got Talent on NBC; on most weekends he joins Mariachi Tamazula in Austin, Texas.
